Document & workflow automation
Connect documents, dates and repetitive follow-up in a controlled workflow.
The starting problem
Connect documents, dates and repetitive follow-up in a controlled workflow. The same process does not work identically in every organization. We start by reviewing user roles, information flow and existing tools.
The components
Document intake and review; Human approval steps; Reminders and operation history. These components need a shared data source and clear responsibility boundaries. Interface and business rules are checked against the same scenarios.
From document to suggestion to approved record
Reading a document and acting on its contents are separate steps. When a date, amount or name is extracted, the reviewer should see its source and be able to correct it. Uncertain information should be presented for review, not as a verified record.
A sample workflow uploads a file, proposes supported fields, allows an authorized person to compare them and creates a record after approval. Unreadable files, repeated uploads, missing pages and contradictory fields need distinct responses. Visibility follows roles and business needs rather than exposing every document to every employee.
Notifications or transfers after approval also require traceability. Failed sends, retries and completed steps should remain visible to an operator. Retention and access policies depend on the customer's context; we do not promise automatic legal compliance. A few anonymized documents and a list of expected fields are a useful discovery starting point.
First-release focus
Completing a frequent journey end to end is more valuable than many half-finished features. We first define entry, permissions, records, editing and error behaviour. Subsequent releases follow observed needs.
How we proceed
Discovery establishes existing data, integration access, content owners and success criteria. The data model, visual experience and acceptance checks then follow the same plan. A similar portfolio item is a starting point, not a substitute for defining your scope.
