01

What need does this address?

Corporate websites, catalogues and commerce considered together. Alongside design, we define content management, product data and order flows. We start with how the work happens today, where time is lost and what users need to complete. The problem definition comes before a list of tools.

02

How do we define scope?

We identify existing systems, content, data sources and decision owners. The priority journey, boundaries of the first release and deferred requirements are recorded. Integration access and third-party costs are evaluated separately.

03

A manageable journey from catalog to order

A catalog and a store accepting online payments do not have identical requirements. Product information with a WhatsApp enquiry may be sufficient. If carts, inventory, shipping and payments are needed, we scope them as separate business rules rather than decorative screens.

The management experience matters as much as the storefront. Owners should be able to update prices, replace images and withdraw products without a developer. For variants, we establish where stock is held, what happens when a price changes during checkout and how duplicate payment notifications are handled. Provider fees and ownership of payment, shipping and accounting accounts are identified separately.

For a redesign, we inventory product addresses, categories and existing content before migration. We do not assume a better-looking storefront preserves discoverability automatically. Mobile product exploration, filtering, empty carts, payment failures and administrative actions all belong to the acceptance journey. Not every website must take payment: in some businesses the correct outcome is a qualified quote request.

04

What is checked before delivery?

Core deliverables for this service: Distinctive web experience, Catalogue and product model, Payment/shipping connections, Technical SEO. Alongside normal use, we check missing data, invalid input and interrupted operations. A feature being visible and actually working are separate acceptance criteria.

05

After the initial delivery

Source code, access, setup and version information are documented as part of delivery. Maintenance, content updates and new features have a separately agreed scope. Time and pricing are not promised before discovery.

Common questions

Can this work with my existing system?

We first review data, APIs and access in the existing system, then compare integration and rebuilding against scope and maintenance effort.

How are timeline and pricing determined?

The proposal follows clarification of workflows, content readiness, integrations and acceptance criteria. Third-party service costs are identified separately.
